Corot Painting Suit to Be Dropped After Co-Owner Sees Mug Shot
A lawsuit over a missing $1.4 million Corot painting will be dropped after the New York woman who filed it identified a prison mug shot as that of the portrait’s co-owner, her lawyer said.

Wayland Library open house to celebrate reopening
On Sunday, Sept. 12, the Wayland Library will hold an afternoon open house to celebrate reopening after months of repairs and renovations. The library was closed in March because of flood damage in the lower level offices, Raytheon Room and Children’s Room. The library remained closed through April, May, June and July, and reopened on Monday, Aug. 9.
